I am feeling very confused now, whether I should continue staying in T&F. The competitions in T&F are very individual… as in it is not team-oriented. I preferred team-oriented games all along. I guess I will feel pressured being in an individual competition, which I am not confident of. The trainings are quite monotonous because we do the same things again and again during trainings. However the more I go for these T&F trainings/ meetings the more I feel bonded with some members there. That has made me feel very obliged to join. I am so confused now… I don’t know whether I would really enjoy T&F. I want a CCA that I will really have fun and enjoy and after two years, I will say, “ I am going to miss training.”
I have also gone to one of the netball training and only 3 other people turned up. It was their once a week fitness training. Ran 3km and for those who know that I am horrid at long distance can imagine my face. I completed it though I did not enjoy the run and of course completed the run last. The netball girls were nice; they cheered me on as I neared the finishing. However I still feel very bad making them wait for me though they said they did not wait long. I enjoy playing netball more than throwing a shot put or discus because it requires much thinking on your feet as well as team effort. However they told me that that training I went to was the most relaxed one. I cannot imagine what they would call a normal training… or worst… a tough training. They are holding their trainings at Kallang and end late. So if I join them, would my schoolwork suffer?
Surprisingly, T&F appears to me as a more relaxing CCA as compared to Netball. But which would I enjoy more? Which would I excel in? Maybe I will consider other CCAs, which I have not been asked to join their trainings. I still have a few months to consider. Would anyone like to give me some advice because I am at the moment so confused about which CCA I should join. I feel so much better pouring all this out and I would be most encouraged by your advice and comments. So please leave a message ok!
