Wow… how long has it been since I added a new entry? Well I shall add one now. JC life has started and there are lots of tutorials to complete. When I have just cleared most of my work – mind you MOST not all- there comes another few tutorials to do. Sigh.
On top of that, there are some projects on hand like the recently completed physics project that made me feel that I like physics even more now. We are supposed to make this parachute that can hover in the air for the longest time and land on a specific target. Initially our group has no idea how to get the project started and everyone has been quite busy. It was not until two days before the dateline that I felt that I should just try to think of something. I thought about a few factors such as Moments and Large surface area for resistance and finally produced the canopy for the parachute using a huge green recycling bag. Well… Our parachute was made in time and surprisingly came in as the best parachute! What made it the best parachute, I guess, is luck. It float longest in the air because of the wind and at first it drifted away from the target but the wind blew it back! I came out with one page of theory (more or less sensible-sounding rubbish that I crapped out) which I am actually quite proud of, so anyone interested in knowing about the theory, you can try to find me.
There is also a GP project about Casinos in Monte Carlo, Monaco. I am not even clear about where Monte Carlo is… I thought it must be in Mexico or something but it turned out to be in France. Anyway, we are suppose to look for drawbacks of that casino but think about it, who in the right mind would put up a website to say” Hey my casino has lots of drawbacks so please don’t come.” Especially when the casino is a money-earning casino, which brings in money to the country.
Oh yes, and apart from all these academic stuff, there was cross-country in AJC. It was really fun! I was like jogging/walking with a few of my classmates and we talked a lot on our way. I love my cross-country number tag too!!!! The number is 1111 and it looks like barcode! I wanted to buy it and put it in my room but that will cause a lot of trouble for my PE rap and the teachers. Also I will be deemed irresponsible for “losing” the tag. I didn’t want to risk putting IJ in the bad light so I just gave it back. My friends and I walked the first part of the cross-country due to the jungle path, which is not very flat, and because people in front are walking so it was hard to get pass. We came in around the 4hundred nineties… not so good but it was not bad considering the fact that we walked.
Also there's CCA for me. 3 times a week for track and field! Shouldn't talk much about it for now... next time ok!
Some weird stuff happening in my class but I shouldn’t confirm anything here… most of my friends have heard so if you really dying to know… then go ask the ijrc girls from my batch.
