I as so glad to meet up with the IJRCYSec4'04 girls. We went to Thai Express to have dinner and later went to take neoprints. We managed to squeeze everyone into the picture somehow. We also bought this blue friendship band to wear on our right ankle. Though I have taken it off now and put it on my phone. Hope you girls do not mind my habit. Anyway, it will be on my hand phone and will remind me of our bonded friendship. I can’t wait to meet up with you girls in June.
We were supposed to do sports climbing practice on Wednesday for ODAC. However, it rained so we did Bouldering (Climb sideways on a horizontal low rock wall). I really enjoy Bouldering because it poses as a challenge for me to complete the route without giving me too much stress. I completed the girl's route the last time and I nearly completed the boy's route left a 0.5m climb to the finishing stone. I promised myself that I would complete that soon.
After ODAC training, we went to play at the track. We went jogging and we passed a hurdle during our first round. I really wanted to jump over the hurdle but I was afraid that it would be too high. As I passed it, I guess I could clear it. So at our second round, I sprinted the short distance and leaped over the hurdle propelling with my right leg. It was quite a nice clearance. However on my third round, as I was about to leap over the hurdle, my left foot got sprained before I leaped. I felt the heat searing to my left foot as I tried to steady myself. Myra and Hazel walked me back and there was this cracking sound with every step I take. I managed to get back home alone despite the pain and swelling, perhaps with some help from my ego.
The next day I awoke, my ankle hurt really badly. I think it must be the same ankle I hurt during kindergarten and during Sec 2 when I was playing a Captain’s ball match. I went to the Chinese sinseh and it was not extremely painful and as he rotated my ankle. It was really frightening though. He said I can forget about my Napfa this coming Monday and he also advised me to go for an X-ray to check for hairline fracture if my ankle still hurts after two days.
So I did not attend school for two days and I am afraid that there would be much to catch up when I go back. The Chinese sinseh does not issue MCs so how am I suppose to excuse myself from school and also the PFT?
My ankle feels better but it still hurts when I attempt to walk after some rest. I hope to walk normally and do physical activities soon. I want to boulder. I don’t like to limp around at such a slow pace. It makes me feel miserable. I hope I can get perfectly well by Monday to go to school for two common tests.
what we could have been, 11:27 AM.
