The dust has gathered and formed a misty layer on the surfaces. As I open the journal once again that was untouched for months, the coat of dust just floated and drifted into emptiness as the light from the sun sheds its pale yellow glow into this room…
Guess those who have been clicking on my links to check out my updates must be real disappointed each time they see the same entry again. I have been really busy and life has been stressful-yes- but it has been fulfilling. I have indeed learnt a lot through some of these rough times. So somehow I am thankful. I have finally seen how some things I have taken for granted is really so important in my life. I don’t want to take them for granted again.
Right, today we celebrated teachers’ day. I went to AJC and joined the celebration. First there was a mass line dance in which some people are to dress up as cow boys and cow girls. The PE teachers all wore this red handkerchief around their necks. After the mass dance, there was a concert put up by the students.
After the celebration ended, I waited for Hazel to finish up her homework that was to be handed in. We then went back to IJ together. We met a lot of other classmates and friends back in IJ! I was really shocked to learn that Mrs Gail Siow went to Australia to teach and Cheng Wei laoshi is pregnant. Her baby is due next week. I am really going to miss Mrs Siow. She was really kind and she left without leaving a contact. Doesn’t matter, I will try to contact her someway.
Ruo Yun and I met at IJ, we went around to look for the teachers. We couldn’t talk much to Miss Yap because she was coaching her student in maths. Nevertheless, we can catch up with her next week. We chatted with her student after she left. Her student was really friendly. I can’t help feeling “ this is IJ” where you can just chat non-stop with someone you don’t even know her name. We still didn’t ask her her name when we parted at the bus-stop.
Ruo Yun and I then went to Somerset to meet up with Yuting. We were hungry on our bus ride there and we have agreed on eating subway. When we alighted outside Heeren, we went straight to Cathay’s Subway but we suddenly thought of Yuting. In the end we met her at Somerset MRT and proceeded back to Subway to grab a bite. $4.80 for a Turkey Sandwich- yummy. Later, we walked around and catch up on quite a bit and we really had much fun. I really enjoyed myself and I have gotten some irksome problems off my chest by telling these two friends whom I can trust without much hesitation.
Till next time! Must Study hard for Promos :)
